Confidence Pods

These sessions are for complete beginners or people  wanting to refresh their knowledge and skills or to develop confidence.

We will explore the following and make sure you become familiar with the venue, and have a fabulous swim.

  • Swimming your swim
  • Safety in and out of the water
  • River safety
  • Exploring locations and venues
  • Next steps in your Open Water journey
Your actual swim time will be guided by the weather, conditions, and your experience in the water. I will discuss your needs and create the right swim for you.

Private 1 to 1 session is £60

Small group sessions from £35 per person - depending on group size.

Open Water Event Introduction

Suitable for those who are confident swimmers and want to enter an event or challenge.

We can introduce front crawl, look at improving your technique, or explore the skills you will need to take part in an event or distance swim.

I can use a variety of venues depending on your location and the distance from my base. This could include open access lakes, swimming venues or rivers.

Private 1 to 1 Session for 1 hour is £60

Wild Swimming Experiences

Do you want to swim in a new place, learn about river swimming, explore nature when swimming on your back. We can drift down a river on a rubber ring, explore with friends or wake up early for a sunrise swim. We can swoosh where its safe and feel like we are the fastest swimmers on earth!

I sometimes swim outdoors to exercise, but mostly its to immerse myself in nature, enjoy the feel the water and take a break from the world.

Lets arrange an adventure together!

Swim and Wellbeing Events

I work closely with Helen from Seeds of Compassion to hold a range of events and experiences based around swims, nature and our wellbeing. We developed these as a place for women to come together, feel held and supported by others and to develop a shared understanding of how green and blue spaces can support us in our busy lives. These events will have a range of activities including meditation, sharing food and drink, readings, blessings and a ceremony of thanks or release. We will develop our understanding of the seasons, the moon and our cycles and feel refreshed in the presence of others.

When you enter the water, something, like a metamorphosis happens. Leaving behind the land, you go through the looking glass surface and enter a new world in which survival, not ambition or desire, is the dominant aim.”
